WHAT'S NEW?
APRIL 2012
New Henna Artwork
For months, Luma has been hoping to find a beautiful redhead with piercing blue eyes who would accept to pose for her next henna project entitled Some Like It Red. The opportunity finally presented itself a few weeks ago and gave way to an amazing series of photos. To create these henna lace gloves, the henna-artist went to dig for some inspiration into the 1950's glamour fashion, mixing some old and new together to create this unique henna design.

New Henna Artwork
It's been almost 2 years since Luma has worked on a henna project; the last one being a tribute to the Rolling Stones with her Tattoo You henna. Her source of inspiration for this latest henna creation was found among 1960s floral designs and the Twiggy style. Dancer, Sarah Bronsard was the model selected to don these henna tights which took over 10 hours to create, more than enough time for this talented muse to nibble on blackberries, read various chapter of Women Who Run With The Wolves, answer emails and watch the movie Milk, while having to sit very still... well almost!
